Being a part of TCC is not about simply attending a service, or identifying with an organization or group of people. TCC is a commitment to living out the gospel together as missionaries. Because of the unique posture we are seeking in our city there are at least two different audiences being attracted to our gospel community.
1. The first group are people who are far from God and outside of God’s community. This is who we believe God is calling us love, serve, bless and reach. From the beginning we’ve been convinced the best way for these people to come into our community is through smaller communities of people living out the implications of the gospel.
2. The second are people already being transformed by the Spirit from other churches around the Valley who are being called to be out the mission of God with us. We have prayed, evaluated, and decided that (for now) the best way to assimilate this group into the community of TCC is through “Transition Communities.” They are essentially 4-week intensives on what exactly we mean when we say we are living out the gospel as missionaries in our world and how we propose to do it
The primary meeting time will be 4 consecutive Monday nights from 6-8 PM. We will share a meal together each week, build community, discuss the vision of TCC, and work through 4 essential teachings for reorienting to life with TCC.
